Speaker:

When change comes, do you run and hide from it or do you embrace it as an exciting adventure?

Speaker:

I hope that you're in the latter category of people who view change as an exciting adventure.

Speaker:

However, I know that most people hide it first and then slowly tiptoe into the change.

Speaker:

So why all the talk about change?

Speaker:

Well, changes are coming to this podcast.

Speaker:

This podcast has undergone a couple of changes.

Speaker:

When it started, it was all about leadership, narrowly focused on building up leaders.

Speaker:

And then I shifted to focus on business, specifically on small business owners and helping them

Speaker:

be better at leading their teams and running their businesses.

Speaker:

I took a break from the podcast starting in the summer of 2023 to focus on the church

Speaker:

I was a part of.

Speaker:

My responsibilities in that church were taking up much of my time and moving into 2024, I

Speaker:

made the decision it was time to step away from leadership there and focus on my family

Speaker:

and my desire to pursue a degree in biblical and theological studies.

Speaker:

I started college this last fall and it's been both challenging and rewarding.

Speaker:

But now moving into 2025, I'm once again taking this podcast in a new direction.

Speaker:

The episodes that I will be making going forward will be a mix of discipleship and leadership,

Speaker:

specifically the integration of discipleship under Jesus Christ and leadership.

Speaker:

The Equipped for Purpose podcast exists to equip, develop, and empower followers of Jesus

Speaker:

Christ to integrate deep discipleship with impactful leadership in every area of life.

Speaker:

That is the direction the podcast is going.

Speaker:

So I hope you'll join me on this journey.

Speaker:

I am very grateful to all of you who have made this podcast part of an investment of

Speaker:

time.

Speaker:

I know that it is a valuable investment of time to listen to a podcast and then apply

Speaker:

what it is that you've discovered.

Speaker:

Just as I value my time, I hold value for yours as well.

Speaker:

And I am committed to bringing you content that is crammed full of actionable value.

Speaker:

So from leadership to business and now to integrating deep discipleship with impactful

Speaker:

leadership, I hope that you will continue to listen and share the show.

Speaker:

If you plan to continue listening, I'm very excited and would love to hear from you.

Speaker:

My email is in the show notes.

Speaker:

My big ask of you is to connect with me on X, Facebook or Instagram, or all of the above

Speaker:

if you want.

Speaker:

But those are the platforms I'm on and I'm most active on X.

Speaker:

Thank you.
